(Radio Programming Software)
Stop drawing your format clocks by hand!
HotClock was created especially for radio programmers, and it's the fastest & easiest way to graphically represent your programming hour (or program or even full day).
Just enter the Start and Stop time of each event, and HotClock will do the rest.
HotClock's intuitive design lets you be productive immediately! (It comes with incredibly easy-to-understand instructions, but you probably won't even need to refer to them.)
HotClock works on any PC that runs Windows 95 or later. (Sorry, it doesn't run on Macintosh).
You use it to create pie charts that resemble the face of a clock, so that everything on your radio station (or radio program) occurs exactly when it's supposed to. No confusion, no “forgetting.”
Now you can create professional-looking graphics in a clear, concise way — without having any special computer skills at all.
Easy Data Entry
Just enter the Start and Stop times of each event, and let HotClock do the rest!
For example, let's say you want to create a pie chart for your morning show.
In this case, the “pie” represents one hour.
To assign the first four-and-a-half minutes of the hour to “News,” you enter a Start time of “00:00” and a Stop time of “04:30”:
HotClock then shades the first four-and-a-half minutes of the clock as seen here:
Colors & Patterns
Clicking the Color/Pattern button on the HotClock table allows you to select from a wide range of colors and fill patterns:
HotClock lets you scale your sequence of events over a time period that you choose.
Create clock pie charts that represent a minute, an hour, a 12-hour day or a 24-hour day.
Here is a schedule for a day-care facility that operates from 9:00AM until 3:00PM:
(Not that we'd ever suggest that managing an air staff is anything like managing children....)
Customize your clock by placing your own pictures anywhere you'd like:
HotClock also makes it easy to create labels. Just drag and drop the text from the HotClock table onto the main screen.
HotClock was written for Windows 95/98/NT/XP. Any computer capable of running one of these operating systems will be able to run HotClock with incredible ease. (Sorry, HotClock won't work on Macintosh.)
Create your own Hotclocks — as many as you want, effortlessly.
Create HotClocks for one hour, 12 hours, or 24 hours.
Customize your HotClock with your own bitmapped graphics (e,g., your logo).
